Many oil fields in our country have entered the mid to late stage of production, resulting in a decrease in formation pressure, which has forced many oil fields to adopt small pump deep pumping technology. But as the pump hanging deepens, the working environment of the oil well pump becomes even worse. Taking Zhongyuan Oilfield as an example, many oil wells currently have pump depths exceeding 2000 meters, and the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the downhole pump barrel is nearly 20MPa or even higher. Due to the above reasons, the pump barrel will expand and deform under the action of internal and external pressure differences, resulting in the actual leakage amount of the oil well pump during operation exceeding the theoretical leakage amount (the theoretical leakage amount is specified in the national standard GB/T18607 with a test pressure of 10MPa). An increase in leakage will inevitably lead to a decrease in pump efficiency. For this purpose, our company has developed a series of ultra deep low leakage pumps. The pump barrel has a zero pressure difference between the inside and outside during operation, greatly improving the working environment of the oil well pump and reducing actual leakage. The pump has currently applied for a national patent (patent number: 2018215116413).
Structure and working principle
This pump is equipped with a load-bearing outer pipe on the basis of a regular full barrel pump, with the bottom of the pump barrel fixed on the outer pipe and the upper end suspended. When the oil well pump is working, the annular space between the pump barrel and the outer pipe will be filled with oil, and the pressure difference between the inside and outside will be balanced, greatly improving the working environment of the pump barrel.

1. The pressure difference between the inside and outside of the pump barrel is zero, and the pump barrel will no longer expand or deform under force. Reduced leakage and improved pump efficiency.
2. Reduced the probability of failure of the entire pump due to deformation of other components under stress.
3. The structure is simple, and the homework process does not add new workload.
4. The depth of the oil pump entering the well will be greatly increased, making it suitable for the extraction of ultra deep wells.
